Soup and Scarf drive to banish the winter blues.

Here in Melbourne we’re all enjoying the first signs of spring, shedding a few layers (and then putting them all back on again!) It was nice to know that in the coldest months our friends at hairdressing and beauty training school, Headmasters Academy were thinking about our vendors.

In July, the staff and students from Headmasters donated scarves, beanies, gloves and tinned soup, presenting boxes groaning with these goodies to The Big Issue office. Our vendors received some very welcome extra warmth.

Headmasters Academy have a well established relationship with The Big Issue, for a long time they have been giving our vendors free hair cuts.

We would like to thank everyone at Headmasters for their generosity.
