The Big Issue hits billboards and screens across the country

Keep your eyes open as The Big Issue’s new advertising campaign has now hit the streets!
The campaign incorporates outdoor media, television, radio and on-line and will run nationally in capital cities where The Big Issue magazine is sold. It uses our local vendors, humour and the admired endorsement of media personality, George Negus, to reach our audience.
The Big Issue vendors were consulted during the development stages, showing an overwhelmingly positive response to the content and style of the campaign. Some vendors contributed further by appearing in the outdoor advertisements (John and Tim) and the TV commercials (John, Trevor and Brett).
The campaign has been possible with the generous support from the Outdoor Media Association (OMA) which provided $1 million of advertising space and our friends at Whybin TBWA, Mitchell & Partners, Luscious International, Sound Reservoir, Sense Advertising, George Negus, James Braund and Adstream who all made it a reality!
We hope the ads will spark renewed interest in the magazine and boost sales for our vendors.
Enjoy and let us know what you think!
