Come and try day kick starts Bunbury Street soccer initiative
Bunbury’s new community street soccer program for homeless and marginalised people is held its first “come and try” day from 3:30pm – 5.30 pm on Tuesday, November 18.
And no-one needed to be a soccer star to join in. Men and women of all ages and ability were invited to get down to The Recreation Ground in Bunbury, for a fun kick around.

Homeless Street Soccer Players celebrate their Best and Fairest
The Big Issue’s Street Soccer Program threw away the red carpet, ditched the diamantes and tossed the silver cutlery as they celebrated their achievements at the 2008 Melbourne Best and Fairest Awards on Wednesday, October 1.
